Challenge

A distributor rep that is integrated into his customer’s facility fulfills their supply chain needs. From gloves to industrial vacuums, grinding discs to anti-fatigue mats, this facility relies

on the rep to bring in not only the best products, but the best value. During an analysis, the rep realized his customer was spending a lot of money on matting, often replacing it quicker

than they would drill bits. He built a case for Safe-Flex, and strongly suggested the customer consider the switch.



“They were replacing mats, in some stations, on a monthly basis. When you do the math, the savings in using a better product is right there.”

Solution

The customer started by ordering our mat kits, the simplest way to get acquainted with the Safe-Flex Floor System. Mat kits are pre-packaged to accommodate 3x3 ft, 3x5 ft and 3x8 ft work spaces. In the box is all necessary safety edging, and assembly instructions. Tile options include regular or drainage antifatigue, as well as ESD, anti-microbial and anti-slip grit matting solutions.

  • Early feedback was positive, and they soon began customizing matting to suit their workstations throughout the facility.

  • Areas producing large volumes of oils required our industry leading anti-slip grit tiles.

  • Areas with no oils have regular anti-fatigue mats.

  • The rep and customer continue to evaluate their needs and bring in the appropriate mat kits for more areas.
